We will be visiting York Art Gallery to support our art topic.  We will carry out a self-led tour of the gallery and the children will have a chance to work in their sketch books and share their ideas.  We will also be attending a clay workshop where the children will be introduced to ceramics, make their own clay sculpture and then spend some time drawing.  The workshop will cost £2 per child.

We will be setting off around 9:15 and staying for lunch so please provide your child with a packed lunch.  If your child is entitled to free school meals abd you would like us to provide a packed lunch, please let your child’s teacher know.  We will be walking to and from the gallery so please ensure your child has sensible footwear and a coat.
