In boosters this week, year 6 will be revising converting units of measure. Year 5 will be translating shapes, including reflections and using coordinates.
On Thursday and Friday, year 5 and 6 will be practising their arithmetic skills, followed by a reasoning investigation.

English

In English, year 5 will be writing their own playscripts based on the story of Gonzalo Guererro, the Spanish conquistador who converted to the Maya. Year 6 will be writing their own stories about arriving to live in a new country, based on The Arrival. On Thursday Year 6 will be practising a reading paper. Spellings will be cian/sion/tion/ssion words.
