Thank you to all pupils who took part in this year’s Fishergate’s Got Talent- thank you to everyone who auditioned and well done to all acts who made it through to the final.

At the final we had: dance quartets, singers, comedians, cheer-leading dancing, tap and contemporary dancing, performance poetry and musicians. It was a tough decision for our judges (Mrs Clarke, Mr Deakin, Mrs Buck and Mr Snowden) but after much deliberation the results were:

Winner: Flash Bob and the Unicorns- a year 2 rock band from Mrs Moss’ class

2nd place: Kizzy (year 5) who performed her version of The Witches by Roald Dahl

Third place: Jace, Mia, Jasmine and Raya who performed a dance and rap routine

Rising star award: Wallis, Scarlett and Eva who sang and danced to The Greatest Showman.

All finalists were amazing and showed real confidence and creativity.

Thank you to all staff and volunteers who helped out on the night and a special thank you to our amazing presenters: Will, Japhet and Evie, who wrote their own script (and jokes) and held the whole show together.

And thank you to everyone who came along and watched the show…we made just over £280. This will go towards redeveloping the John Lally garden over the summer and in Autumn term. 

Many thanks for all your support with our school council projects over the past year. It is much appreciated. Have a lovely summer.
