For art this term we’ve used Antony Gormley as inspiration for our own clay figures. We linked this to class story and PSHE by exploring body language and facial expressions which illustrate a range of emotions using mirrors and role play, then have made our own figures to illustrate a particular emotion.

The Winning Pumpkins!
We raised a massive £258 for Carecent who support homeless people in our city. Whoop whoop! And…Drum Roll Please… the Winners of the 2020 Fishergate Pumpkin Competition are: Tau C and Karthi R WOW! Well done! And big high fives to the highly commended runner ups: John W Certificates and prizes can be collected for winners and runner ups from the School Office after Wednesday. Thank you everyone for your fun participation. You are all Fishergate Stars! Big thanks too, to Mr Bartlett for the very difficult job of judging.Friends of Fishergate
