Please note that there will be a change to the published menu on Thursday 16th January. The vegetarian option offered will be cheese and tomato pizza. Spaghetti Bolognaise and jacket potato options remain the same!

If your child was born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021, it is time to start thinking about applying for their school place! Please note that if your child is nursery-aged and already attends Fishergate Early Years, you do still need to apply for a full-time place in Reception.
We will be holding a number of events for prospective families at Fishergate including ‘show rounds’ when you will have an opportunity to visit our Early Years Unit, meet the staff, and ask any questions you may have about becoming part of the Fishergate family – click here for more information.
Online applications for Reception places in September 2025 have now opened at www.york.gov.uk/schooladmissions. Please note that applying early does not give any priority, so you still have plenty of time to come and visit us before you make your application although to have the best chance of your application being successful you should complete and submit your application by the deadline which is the 15th January 2025.
