Transition workshops at the Design and Technology department, Fulford School

Recently, Year 6 pupils have been up and down the road to Fulford School, where they have participated in some transition Design and Technology activities, led by Fulford’s head of department, Dave Wooldridge. As well as carrying out a challenge to build and race an elastic band powered car, we cooked in Fulford’s purpose-built kitchen.

On all our visits, the behaviour and attitude of Fishergate pupils has been exemplary.  We are proud to take them out and about!

We had some army visitors for the day!  We really had to use all our teamwork and communication skills in some of the challenges they set us.
