Could your child be entitled to free school meals?
Parent and carers who are in receipt of certain income-related benefits may be entitled to apply for free school meals for their children: click here to find out more about eligibility or pop into the office to ask for further information. Claiming free school meals also means the school receives extra funding, called the Pupil Premium, to support your child’s learning.
Even if your child prefers to bring a packed lunch, or is entitled to KS1 free school meals, we still ask that you apply if you think you may be eligible since this Pupil Premium will benefit your child’s education and school as additional funding, as well as enabling them to take up a free school meal any day they choose and possibly access other educational benefits and support.
