In July the Champions of Change team came second in a Primary Schools Windfall competition organised by York Rotary Club.

The group had to come up with a project which would benefit all pupils at Fishergate. The project, which they are working on at the moment, is to set up an information stand containing useful and informative leaflets for pupils to read. They have also organised for KS2 to receive a basic first aid training assembly in January.

Leighton Davis from the York Rotary Club came into school last Friday to present the Champions of Change team with their prize of £500. Well done team!!
