CAROL SINGING AT THE SCHOOL FAIR—FRIDAY 2ND DECEMBER

As part of our annual Christmas Fair, the choir will be entertaining the crowds on Friday! We would really appreciate as many members of the choir to be there for this to support the school. We will be singing at two times during the fair, one at 3.30 and one at 4.15. Please could all children meet me in the downstairs hall at 3.20 (with a festive hat or tinsel!). We will sing for 15/20 minutes and then the children will be free to go and enjoy the fair and then meet me back in the upstairs hall at 4.15. We would really like as many people to hear the choir as possible to add to the festive spirit, hence why we are performing in both halls during the fair.

CAROL  SINGING IN ST HELEN’S SQUARE – TUESDAY 6TH DECEMBER

The school choir have been invited to sing carols in the centre of York on Tuesday 6th December in St Helen’s Square from 1.30 until 2.30. They will be raising money for Friends of Fishergate who are kindly supporting our Young Voices trip in February by funding the coach and contributing towards the children’s t-shirts for this wonderful event. This will be a fantastic opportunity for the children to bring some Christmas cheer to the community  and raise money for Friends of Fishergate at the same time.

I will be walking with the choir on Tuesday 6th December, leaving school at approximately 12.45pm and will arrive back in time for the end of the school day. Children will need to go first sitting that day for their lunch in order to be ready to leave at 12.45.

Please could all children bring something festive to wear on their heads that afternoon, like a Santa hat or tinsel for their hair, I’m sure this will really add to the festive spirit!

It would be lovely to see parents and friends in town  that afternoon to support the children. If there are any parents that can help by walking with the children please come and see me in school.
