We are having our annual Carecent day on Friday 21st September. Carecent is the local homeless charity which we have supported for the last 5 years. They are open 6 days a week providing breakfasts, toiletries, clothes and advice to the homeless people in our community. They rely solely on donations of food, toiletries and clothing from the local community in order to cope with the increasing demand for their valuable services.
On Friday 21st September please bring in any of the following items:
Food: Whole tinned tomatoes, tinned ham, tinned spam or tinned corned beef, tinned hot dog sausages, baked beans, cereal, brown sauce, tomato ketchup, instant coffee, sugar, marmite, tinned fruit.
Clothing needed (no need to be new but they do need to be clean and in good condition please): men’s clothes- jeans, fleeces, jumpers, t-shirts and socks, also woolly hats and gloves.
Toiletries needed: Roll on deodorants, toothpaste, shampoo.
On Carecent Day pupils are invited to come into school dressed as anything beginning with the letter C!! You could be: a child, be colourful, dress up as a cat, a cartoon character, a charismatic young person- it is up to you. Prizes to be won for the most CREATIVE costumes.
Thank you for your support.
