Thank you to the whole of Key Stage 1 and  Key Stage 2 for taking part in the Send my Friend to School campaign. You all listened fantastically to the school council’s assembly about this campaign and made some brilliant world leaders with inspirational messages on.

Rachael Maskell MP was very impressed with the school council and with the whole of Fishergate school for bringing this campaign to her attention. She wants us to send her all the completed world leaders as she plans to pass these onto the Prime Minister.

All world leaders are on display in the downstairs hall. These will be packed up soon to be sent to Rachael’s office. We will ask her to let us know what happens next to the leaders- we hope they will make it all the way from York to Downing Street! We will keep you posted.
