Thank you to all pupils for taking part in the Send my Friend to School campaign. We really appreciate all the thought and effort you put into making your rucksacks. The rucksacks were fantastic and had lots of heartfelt and thoughtful messages on them including….

“Look after all the children!” Connie, Year 1

” If we can go to school why can’t they?” Kiri and Daniel (Year 4 and 3)

“Children should go to school…otherwise they wouldn’t be able to read, write and draw.” Evie

“Stop unfair rules.” Anonymous

“Every child needs an education. Please help the hundreds of children who don’t. An education is the key to job opportunities and money. Money is what they need to live. These children need you.” A year 6 pupil.

Rachael Maskell MP came into school on Friday 1st July. She chatted with the School Council and Champions of Change team about this campaign. The rucksacks will be passed on to her soon and we have asked her to take these to the Prime Minister.
