As you may know, our link with Willow House as part of the Musical Connections project finished at Christmas due to the closure of Willow House Residential Home. We really wanted to keep up our work with Musical Connections, a charity who provide intergenerational music workshops in care and residential homes in York, so we were really happy when we were offered a new link with Barstow House, just off Nunnery Lane.
At the beginning of this week, Miss Teale and Mrs Ekers’ class went for their first workshop with the residents of Barstow House and had a great time! As always, we got to dress up and play games and musical songs with our new friends. We even taught the residents to dab!!
