In Maths, children will learn how to subtract 3 and 4 digit numbers through a range of practical activities, before moving on to reasoning and problem-solving activities using the formal column method.

In English, children will be looking at different forms of poetry and begin writing and rehearsing their own poems to present to the rest of the class.

In Science, children will be reviewing and writing the results of their experiment with egg shells in different liquids.

Children will be starting a new topic this half term. They will be making greenhouses as part of their Design & Technology lessons. Next week, they will begin researching different greenhouses, learning about their importance and how they work.
